Chat Room?

This may of already been mentioned and not wanting to clog up the forum it may provide a solution into realtime chat.

I used to use a couple of chatrooms when major boredom kicked in, they are free, and in both there is a chance to set up your own room/chat area.

First is www.worldsbiggestchat.com set aboard a ship, you build up your rank etc but rooms arent saved(silly scenario)

Second is www.person.com setup as a dating site but my understanding is you can set up a room and it stays there.

Might be a useless idea, may not be, can all be listed so we know who is on, can even use them for real time PM's.

Or we could add to facebook, etc, or even msn.

There is always facebook aswell, and thats an easy solution but can get a bit out of hand with several people typing at once(does for me any way).

The use of other chatrooms wouldnt incur any further cost to the forum or clog up any more space, could be seen as hijacking though. but they are free chatrooms.

there is a danger that you'd be directing traffic away from the club website/forum and onto other mediums i.e. if everyone starts using other forums or chat rooms to talk to one another instead of using this website then this website becomes less active thus less attractive to potential members. just a thought.
