C.O.T.M.

Post by Cavalier342 »

Long shot but just had a thought, how about creating a separate topic for Car Of The Month, sort of thing. Like in the Back Room or the Garage, or something. Rough idea is members post up their pictures to either that topic or to the admins, the admins select their favourite, or there's a panel decision in where a voting system is held, or something along those lines. Thought it might make things interesting, not that the forum is boring or anything at all!!, but just trying to add an idea. :)

im on a couple of forums where they do car of the month...
Normally there is a topic for the month where members post up 2 pics of their car and a link to their WIP...
Then after say 2 weeks, admins start a Poll thread where members vote for their favorite.
Would be a cool idea :D
Also, they normally only allow 1 entry per car per year :D

Sounds good to me, maybe some free club stickers for each months winner?
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

If we did this I don;t think free gift would be on the cards I'm afraid. At the moment the site is run on good will and Gaz' wallet...

I sure the other mods and admin have seen this and will be discussed.

Gaz loses sleep for my car and helps me with parts at ungodly hours of the day. Awesome

Not asking for freebies here, just a friendly competition. :thumb

Gaz only needs to ask for voluntary subs / donations to the forum..

I was happy to donate last year... and will again
