Looking good mate. Whens it getting setup? Looks better on the New wheels bud.
Whats it like to work on with turbo at the back? Always found that abit funny but I guess the inlet wont suffer as much heatsoak.

no idea bud :lol: depends what happens in the near future,if i get new car i want this will be pushed into next year

total pain the rear :wall not bad taking off but trying to refit the turbo on your own is no fun

yep and everything covers everything so no room,have to do t perfect or you end up taking it all apart just to fix tiny mistakes :wall when i put the k280 on i had to refit it twice in one day as it was booked in for mapping same day!!! got thier 2 hours late :lol: :lol:

cant say just in case it doesnt come off but very hopefull :D

on the way thier had a massive water leak and blew a boost pipe,its always breaking down lol very reliable as long as you dont lift the bonnet other than to change oil

hmmmmm a hint ok you will like it :)

it does have a bigger mouth he cut into the black rub strip i didnt,i didnt wanna remove anymore slam panel,if you look at his its almost in 2 pieces will do nothing in frond end impact lol

Hahaha, seems to be the norm for a modified turbo car! I stopped lifting the bonnet ;)
Ah ye I see, bit too much that! My mates dad has a square plate on front to the side.

First time I went to pvs . Seen a cav turbo come out of car park sideways. That made me fall in love! But that skoda is awesome! What running gear do they use it still transverse engine like vaux?

turbo and all the needed bits and the forged engine only cost 2.5k!! so get buying!!!

spent another 2.5k on brakes gearbox rack arms and subframe :?

So what exact turbo is on the new engine? Was it a custom kit or a direct replacement?

its gt2871r hybrid,gt30 wheel and exhaust side(i think!) the gt28 manis can be got easy same with down pipe or so i hear

the engine is forged 1.9 with large port forged head.

i bought the leon already built so didnt have to source anything so not sure how easy it is to source bits

rtech is top in the vag world so they can get you anything!

the car is being built in my mates garage CNTUNING he can get you anything you need aswell

he sourced everything for my last turbo build in record time!! he is also sfs dealer and devils own dealer,and does shark maps

more or less,dash is staying as will front door cards,rest is all gone!!

most of the engine is stripped and wiring all the a/c gone aswell

saved quite a bit of weight which can only be good thing on these heavy boats,target was 1200kg reckon ive smashed that now :cool
