My GSI'S replacement,replacement

the clutch in me octavia has started to slip big time,and its burning oil faster petrol :lol: so thought id take it off road now tax is up and strip it to bits :santa

picked this up today to use while the octy gets a make over.
loads of T&T left,new cambelt.new clutch,new tyres,new brakes,mint inside,nearly mint outside,half tank of jooce, all for 600quid!!
150mile trip home with no probs,doesnt like locking though without setting off alarm, ripped out the central locking box for now lol

Ive had a Vectra B 2.2 sri in the past (bought it new back in 2001). Good cars, unless yours names clarkson.

must admit alot better than the reviews, i just got in from a 4wheel drifting session handles better than the octavia. only a 140 sri tho

yeah bit cheesed about another replacement,hopefully it wont be replacement X3

for the money spot on, good being back in vaux to,was looking for a cavvy but vectras are a much better buy tbh

Good to see you bought another Vauxhall mate :thumb

Wonder how long it will be though until you fall in love with it and ditch the skoda, modded Sri140 Vectra would be good.. :lol:
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

yeah is nice although miss the short shift in my skoda, vectra feels like changing gear with a broom. vectra handles much better though :o

already got some bits on order for the vec :p but will never happen miss boost to much :ass plus after the map that thing went like hell :twisted:

I have a veccie irmscher back box here bit dented but you can have it next time i see you as a spare.

If the Dent is on the side of the silencer then its meant to be there. Allot of people sell the irmscher backboxes as damaged because of this dent, not realising that it should be there, its so it doesnt catch the spare wheel well.

Na that's ok i don't mind you having it my nieghbour wanted it but wanted to pay £30 for it i told him no and he then paid £60 lol from another of his friends.

It's just in the way i was given it by a friend to see if it would fit the cavalier but i really like my old calibra v6 box got a nice note to it gonna be even louder if i get my other bit to my system making it straight through lol :D .

well sick of grease and heavy lifting and super seized bolts so no work on the vrs today so did a bit to the vectra :D noticed i forgot to put the mileage bulb back in :wall pics suck im afraid :lol:
