Nope that's fair enough.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Pulled the nasty dent out today on the rear.
And had to smooth it out with a hammer and a soft cloth it's looking better just looks like a crease now.

Yep stickers and reflectors look aweful.

Good job on the dent though 8-) what did you use the soft cloth for on the dent?

Reflectors are there for the fact I have dark lights.
But the stickers I'm going to see how it goes.

Soft cloth was to stop the hammer marking the car on both sides.

A much better way is to put some masking tape or duct tape over the hammer, that works well.

Never thought of that, would probably be better to get the little dents out.

Right well she's past another mot with only advisories on the brake pipes being slightly corroded, easy fix that is.
So yeah well happy got another year with the old girl.
Weird to think I've had her over a year now it's gone super quick.

So as soon I have the money I'm going to start to tart her up abit more.

Been a while since I've added anything to this thread as the astras never given me any need to do anything.
But now she has the front passenger shock is a little jelly like so I went out and sourced another second hand set that are really good.
Plus they have lowering springs from fk sports 60mm front 40mm rear.
Really can't wait to fit them now I love a low down estate.
This was before I gave them a clean up with hammerite just to cover the surface rust.

I'll post pics Sunday when they are fitted hoping she looks good shes low as she is.

Managed to lower the old girl today.
She's looking awesome now.
Only thing is the mud flaps hit the floor now so I'm going to have to move them.

The arch gap photo isn't that good really it's not showing how low she really is.

Started work on the prodrive front bumper I got off eBay for a bargain price of £15 due to a crack and dent, that's all fixed now though just need to filler and paint.
I fibreglassed and plastic welded the crack and the dent I just flattened off with the soldering iron and then sanded down.

ImageImage
Two screws are there to hold the bumper in place for the fibre glassing I'm going to rivet it in place when I can find my gun.

Tomorrow I'm going to filler and primer it then test fit to make sure it all lines up.
