my new drifter!

Post by terkin »

i did want another cav but couldnt wait for the one i was after

so when this came up for next to nothing had to have it! best of all comes with 328 engine gear box ecu and all the other crap needed for the conversion,so plan is to build nice little drifter

will run it over winter with the 1.9 until the skodas done. bring on the snow :thumb
few pics will get some more got a few little mods for later this week

You said I/we eould approve. I dont approve of it :p

Nah only kidding, if its for nowt then who can complain! Them 2.8lumps are all aluminuim so are pretty light, meant to handle really good. (or so my mate says)

Never liked the compact though, prefer a proper boot. Should be fun over winter though!

dunno sold the engine today so im now a car and 300 up  so coilovers an alloys now i think

im thinking 1.9 16v now make 140bhp hopefully about 150 with some little add ons, welded diff reckon it should slide well!!
i think the massive 2.8 will look out of place in this, the 1.9 looks very similar so should workout better

lmao no was doing something else with that, the inlet hose has a hoooge spilt so took it off and got taping lol. needs a new one

Man I've been away too long you have a bm now you really are getting as far away from cavs as you can lol.
Nice cars these though I do love a Beamer and I love the sound of those lumps with the right system set up.

Going two tone nice one.
I was up at my garage the other day and I hated that I couldn't just drive her but she needs a little work still.
