2.8 injected manual yes. One of the last Capri's built, and for those that don't do Capri's, they finished the run with 1038 of these with 15" wheels, leather interior and brooklands green paint. There is estimated to be less than 400 left I believe. Bought to replace my Corsa GSi back in '96 as a depreciation buster as the Corsa just lost so much value so fast. Spent a lot of time and money on it in 2001/2002 and this was the result. It's spent most of it's life since laid up in he garage.

Got a couple of hundred photos, taken throughout the rebuild, will post some when I get a chance to get my daughter away from 'my' pc, as I'm currently on the old celeron 466 laptop, lol. The engine bay is still pretty manky, it's the only bit I never got around to finishing. Everything else was replaced, cleaned, polished or painted during a nine month epic life takeover. That started out as a tart up so I could take it to shows with friends, then I got carried away!
.....and no silly price tag, I bought it just as they reached the bottom of their depreciation and it's probably worth 2-3 times what I paid for it, if not more.

some of the later stage photo's, limited to three per post, will be here all day, lol. Looking through, I don't think I have any of the engine bay, probably 'cos it was never finished!

Yes, painted myself, which was tough in a single garage but it came out good. I was pleased with it
