MK4 Astra 1.8 Sport

This is my sister's MK4 Astra.
Was bought for £1200 with a new mot and 6 months tax in may of 2007.
It's got a cat back stainless steel exhaust, de-restricted air box (thanks to getting a
total vauxhall mag) with a green panel filter.
Had been played with before it was bought as it's lost it's alloys, it had 195/65/15 tyres
on, but the spare had a 195/60/15 on, so i think they were swapped with a vectra.
Now on the correct size tyres. The wheel trims are from a 10 plate agila, as the person
wanted alloy's inseatd of the steels, had only done 167 miles! As you can see from the
pics it's got the typical wiper problem, which thanks to reading posts on vxon i now know
what needs to be done to fix it. It was an ex-lease car. Now has 160,000+ on the clock,
so will be looking for another engine this year.
On with the pics:
washed it friday, hoovered the inside, polished the windows and done the tyres,
but ran out of daylight, so done some more today.
heat gun on the skirts and trims:
and a quick clean under here:
I've changed the passenger wing as it was hit. Need a drivers mirror shell, a roof
ariel rubber gasket, rear wiper stem (the one bolted to the motor on the outside
of the boot that the wiper arm goes on), smoked rear lights (late type like the front
lights), front wiper motor.
pics make it look better than it is, will be getting a respray this year hopefully.
