A few of my old cars

Post by SRi_stu »

Bored flicking through folders on photobucket, Thought i'd share a selection of my cars from the last few years. There about 90% ford so i fully expect someone to delete this thread through pure disgust at my sort :|

Tried to post them in the order i owned them cos i'm quite anal lke that :thumb

my first legal car, lasted a week
Image
replaced it with this
Image
had these 2 as projects at the same time
Image
Image
I replaced both of them and the cav when the cav engine let go
bought this as a 1.6l auto
Image
2 years later i sold it as a 2.9i manual, ghia s spec
Image
also had this orion
Image
Then i moved to a house with enough room for 5 cars in the front garden so i bought more
Image
Image
this was my daily
Image
replaced with this
Image
then i had to get another cortina, this one was in a cement yard
Image
cleaned up nicely
Image
that went when i had an accident in it.
so i bought this cavalier, it was actually the 2nd time i owned it
Image
then came a period where i couldnt decide what i wanted....

Are you related to steven77 by any chance?

Almost every photo features the same set of wheels! I'm guessing you loved these more than the cars!

Wish I had never looked, need to go and cif my eyeballs now..

Infact I had a Mk1 fiesta on alleycats with a xr2 engine in it that me and my old man built with uprated cam etc and a Xr3i mk4 shape that I used to demolish a brick wall when the brakes failed.

Pretty much been a vauxaholic ever since bar a rover (bad times) and a peugeot 205 gti I did up then wrote off

I cant help it, i like old fords. The way i've got it now is the way i like it, the cavalier as my sensible reliable daily and the cortina is my baby, my plaything, theres a cossie waiting when i can afford to do it.
theres a sticker i always have i my back windows
Image
think the cavalier qualifies as old?

Pug 205's were amazing, loved mine and it was a decent spec one with extras including a new fiesta in the grille after some to**er in a fiesta hire car pulled out right in front of me on one christmas evening twisting the chasis and writting her off :cry still bitter now :cry

my first car was a chipped sierra 2.0. i didnt have it long enough to find out how poor they were as i rolled it and it died a premature to death. before that i had concluded it was indestructible because of the abuse i gave it. haha!

It amazes me how many Cavalier owners once owned Ford Escorts and Cortinas, which proves the mass appeal of what I consider to be Vauxhall's greatest car, extremely proud to so bias! :cool
