My New Acquisition.....
My New Acquisition.....
I have just acquired this car through my brother at next to nothing.. due to him getting my other brothers car....A case of an offer I couldn't refuse....
Hope to keep the cav as well, but not looking financially viable at the moment...oh and the new one is a diesel.. with a chip and straight through exhaust.....

Re: My New Acquisition.....
Hmmm what can I say...
Looks alright I guess but it aint a Cav or even a Vauxhall, know they are pretty rapid though!
Just watch the HG on these, all the old Rover / MG cars had a habit of popping there HG's!

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Hi Mike, all the petrols except v6 and diesels do head gaskets - the diesel had bmw input and tends to be good, to be honest wouldn't have a petrol unless it was v6....

Only the K-Series, only in the Post -95 "Bubble shapes" (heavier cars with more ancillaries), and 90% of the time failures are down to infrequent coolent changes.Mikebmth wrote:Hmmm what can I say...
