The vectra!

Post by 5853moore »

As some of you know i have sold the cavalier due to it not being quick enough. 90bhp :/.

So with a buget of £1700 i went looking for a vauxhall or a ford had to be eather. I looked at no end of vectras/astras/escorts/mondeos/cavaliers even went and had a look at a few xr3is but they where eather rotten, heap of shit, high mileage or over priced.

So i had just about given up search and till i was browsing ebay one night and thought ooo i like that but i bet i cant eather get insurance on it or it will be a heap. Anyway the next day i went and had a look at it dragged a mate along as well ( both knowing what we are looking for).

And ended up with this:

2001 Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 v6 sri 83k, 1 owner from new, full service history, 6 months MOT 6months tax all for £1100. and its immaculate!

Looks like a minter from that pic, one of my mates had a hatchback V6 vectra a while back and that thing didnt half shift..

As my mate is a ex police high speed response driver he used to scare us all with it
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....
