Old Cav (mk1?)
Old Cav (mk1?)
Saw this today outside Gregs, was trying to take a clear pic but just as I did the traffic appeared and then the guy who owned it who didn't look too happy about it being photographed......Miserable tnuc...Lol
Looks proper clean...Seen it a couple of times around Parkstone in Poole..

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....
Re: Old Cav (mk1?)
Shouldnt be driving it around if he doesnt want it photo'd, simples.
That annoys me. Buy distinctive car, moan when people take interest. Mini-hitlers

Might have thought,
A) you were going to stick on BarryBoys.
B) You were surveylance wanting to steal it.
C) Justs an old Cnut

I still miss my Mk1 Cav Coupe in Jade green. Not many of this Mk left now. Saw one on eBay, barn find, it only went for £180...reckon that will end up on a banger track.
Re: Old Cav (mk1?)
The Mark 1 GLS coupe is a classic car I want to own. (Ever since I realised they where opel mantas with chrome bumpers!
And I've always wanted a manta.

It was a lovely car, and tough as old boots. They do come up on the rare occasion on eBay. Last one was about 2 grand. I would love another, but I haven't anywhere indoors to keep one, and it would be criminal to let it live outside.

Here we go, Hairibo....it's not a Cav coupe, but a very nice early Manta B. With chrome bumpers!

Remove window and lower wall, replace with garage door and hey presto, cavalier comfort while watching coronation street, also aids as a wall paper pasting table and emergency seating when relatives visit at christmas.VauxhallGirl wrote: but I haven't anywhere indoors to keep one,

Re: Old Cav (mk1?)
It looks more like a Vauxhall Chevette to me, rather than a Cavalier.
Edit: No I'm wrong I think it is a cavalier, it has the chrome strip around the front wheel arches.
