J422EGT

Post by wafers »

Not spotted as such, but intrigued all the same. I sold my white Gsi back in 2012 chap called Neil Davies in Swansea, and he promised that he'd be restoring the car. I have tracked it on DVLA for a number of years, and it remained sorned, but not on the road. I wasn't convinced that it would ever happen to be honest. However, a recent check shows its now both mot'd and taxed, and on the road again! Great news! Hopefully the owner gets it to meets occasionally - if anyone spots it, I'd love to see a photo of it! Here are a couple of it from when I owned it. The photos of it on the black slabs are how it looked when I sold it, by the way. ;)

No idea dear chap.

Showing as on SORN.
No certificate of destruction.
So that is encouraging.

MOT expired in June 2017, so 2 1/2 years ago.

Have you asked on the cavalier corner facebook group?
It is a very active group.

It looks like is was used / taxed / MOT'd for about 2 years, and then all went quiet again.
A barn find of the future perhaps?

Regards,
Robsey.
