The only member i spot and vice versa is Hayward691 as he's moved to the local area. And i've met a few people at a club meet before. That's about it.

Hmmm, I go to Birkenhead (Hind Street - the old M53 Ford Garage), every other tuesday or wednesday - not seen any Cavs round there yet... :wave

But then again, I have never seen Gaz or Squig, despite them both being within 10 miles of my home (Ashton Under Lyne). :wave
Or the many others in Oldham / Chadderton :wave

Depends where you think the meet should be.

Got a few groans last year, because there were a couple in Manchester.
So you would need somewhere that would be easy for all to get to.

I suppose we could start a thread stating where we are all from, such as Birkenhead, Chester, Manchester, Liverpool, Essex, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds and so on (sorry not intentially missing any one out.

If it helps, I am from the east side of Manchester, and I alternate between Ellesmere Port and Birkenhead every tuesday or wednesday (every tuesday from Sept onwards)

If there is enough agreement on this, I'll start the thread this evening.
Remember though that a vague area description is adequate for security reasons.

Hi yes start the thread i would be interested to see how many live locally or close by it might help to organise a fairly central point for meetings and things :thumb I live near keighley which is about 10 miles from bradford

To be honest, if everyone puts in their location on their profile, its displayed in the post anyway. I know some people choose not to, that's totally cool. But just thought i'd point it out.
As soon as i get a few bits sorted on the Cav, i'd be up for doing some distance for a meet :thumb

Yes, I thought that too, but I suppose a dedicated thread or section, may save you having to trawl through all the members list to find someone in your locality.

I used to put my location, but I thought that being in the dog house was more apt (I'm married) and a little funnier.

No problem, just a thought due to the op's concerns.

I'll await a few more yays or nays, before reaching a democratic concensus

I'll prepare some info, and then see what happens from there.

Obviously, those who do wish for their location to remain private, then that's fine.
They just don't have to post up their details :thumb

But I won't even consider wading through 1261 members past and present. :o

Right I've made a start, but I know that I've missed a few out.

Apologies to those that are not in the list - there is no reason other than I just haven't found you yet on my tinterweb travels.

But here is the initial listing.

I'll make a proper list / thread when it can be done tidily.
