v6 motorsport ls sri saloon

well, not sure what it was as it seemed to have trim from all those models on it, but it was a white saloon with motorsport decal but a v6 badge on the boot, with sri wheels. spotted it in royston, hertfordshire, and then promptly put a cavmk3oc flyer under the windscreen wiper but not sure if they've come on to say hello or not. was it you?!

Yeah I've got one of the 80 or so v6 Cesaros left on the road.

The a basically 1.8LS spec. with a V6 engine in. It dosen't even have standard v6 antiroll bars. they are skinny 1.8 jobbies.

But they do have v6 5 stud hubs a breaks. Rear discs And Traction control/ABS.

The 1.8 Cesaro had the multispoke SRi style 15"'s the V6 version has 5 stud SRi fan blades. They have a SRI/Turbo boot spolier and black strip around the bumpers and doors. (Where on SRi they are red, and CDX/GLS they are chrome)

They also have Recro seats and a poco dot seat pattern only found in the Cesaro models. of astra mk3 and Cavalier Mk3.

Mine is a white Auto saloon.

You could get FLame red, Diamond black and (I think a lagoon type blue. At least in the 1.8)

that was it, that top pic is the same as the one i saw in royston; the sri wheels, the motorsport badges and the v6 badge on the boot. it was a white one too. it would be great if the owner popped up, as i said earlier i did leave a flyer under the wiper. i vandalise a lot of cavaliers in that way hehehe! so this is a cesaro eh, i see. cheers for the heads up anyway, you've given me another idea for the forum, a comprehensive model/spec list... will add it to the list...!

Cheers mate. They'll be refurbed in Satin black, once the BTCC Decals go on and I've fitted the Front splitter.

the boot spoiler on my cavalier is a genuine irmscher item, fitted as an extra by the previous owner at the original point of sale. i have a receipt for it in the history, £500 which in 1994 was worth even more than it is now. if you're after a 'bargain' irmscher uk are selling one on ebay at the moment as new for £300... with inflation and the price reduction i'm sure that's a bargain of sorts...?! mine is the only one i've seen like it, the others are non irmscher split items:

yeah he had a poorly nephew, but i dont think that was the catalyst for building the car. i read his project thread from when it went online and i think he wanted to have it finished in time to drive his nephew around in before he got too ill (or worse )
