I've certainly noticed less and less of them about, I have spotted a satin red turbo in Scarborough, loos clean and standard too it's just never been stood still long enough for me to photo/flyer!

The thing is as nice as it is to flyer people and hope they join the website, the reality of it is that half of these cavs are just peoples "Shitboxes" to run around in till the mot/tax runs out and then i bet 90% of them will be getting scrapped.

Sad i know but thats just how it is i reckon.

yeah youre right, cheap runarounds for people to neglect til the car dies and then they move on to the next one. my father in law drives a 2.0 cdx cavalier mk3 and i have tried to encourage his enthusiasm but to him its just a car that he bought for £400 that he will never service and will drive it into the ground and then go buy another motor to replace it and (mis)treat it in exactly the same way. like you say, the way it is i guess, and his will probably be more trouble free than the rest of ours hahaha

drove through the town of chatteris last night and spotted a facelift hatch (cdx?) parked up on the side of the road. pulled over and flyered the car, hopefully will result in a new member signing up before long :)

Very true comment about most people just running about in cavs now with a bit of mot.. it's how i got mine..it was going to be scrapped... anyway, i have finally printed some flyers off so hopefully have some pics soon of some flyered machinery.. :)

flyered a few more recently, tesco car parks and the like, weather turning now though, more likely to get people hacked off with paper mache all over their windscreen. 'it was once a cavmk3oc flyer, honest'
