In Christchurch New Zealand

Post by cavy130sri »

well guys and gals, I just got back from a four week tour of NZ. I saw a few cavs or vectra A's as they call them, while driving around.

Here's the best of them, which I spotted after getting my meal on my second last night in NZ.

Awesome :D Didn't know they had them all the way down under. That's cool. :thumb I assume they refer to them as Holden Vectras then?

Now someone has to travel to south America and try to find a Chevy version.

I've been trying for years to find a photo og the Holden Vectra for years.

Did it have seat covers or are the Head rests different to the OPEL/Vauxhall ones?

well when all the cavs in england have rusted to oblivion we know where to go for good ones!warmer climates and no throwing salt on the roads has a big impact on lastability.went to one of the greek islands in june and there were loads of mk2 cavs about and opel asconas that are 30 years old,all look sun bleached but no rust!

Although branded here a Cavalier by Vauxhall, in the rest of the world was technically a first generation Vectra, so it appears were all Vectra fans underneath! :D
