TE37s

Post by mo_ayman »

Hi all,

I was wondering if I should buy some TE37s.

I have found 14x6.5 TE37s in a decent condition.

Will they fit? They have +28 offset and I couldn't get to know the hub clearance of the TE37s.

All I know that my 1995 has 14s and that 6.5 should have 175-225 and I don't mind having a 185 or so.

I can check the offset on the stock wheels I have.

What do you guys think?

I believe the standard width of the vauxhall 14" rim is 5.5" & the offset is ET 49 with the PCD 100, so your chosen wheels should fit OK but I know how the offset of these will affect the suspension geometry of your car, Hope this helps you.

I know that it has a PCD of 100. Thanks for pointing that out.

I have tried calculating the stock spec and the TE37s and got to the following:
Stock:
- 5.5" = 139.7mm
- Centerline = 69.85mm
- Offset = 49mm
- Mounting point = 118.85mm
TE37:
- 6.5" = 165.1mm
- Centerline = 82.55mm
- Offset = 28mm
- Mounting point = 110.55mm

* Both have 4 bolts with a PCD of 100 as mentioned before

Where "Mounting point" is the distance from the inner plane of the wheel to the bolts.

I guess that should work just fine.
