Great news Pirelli have made this again
https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/165r13 ... -cn36.html
it will be the best handling tyre for cars that fitted a 165R13
proper 165R13
Re: proper 165R13
165 R13-82T is listed as an option for the Mk3 in the Haynes manual...
But I presume that would be for a late 80s base model with a small block engine. Such as the little heard of 1.4NV or 1.6SV

Re: proper 165R13
Quite right, I've deleted my post. As you were!
Yep, 165r13 will fit the early 1.4 and 1.6 pre-facelift MK3 Cavaliers.
I also see that you now sell 195/60r14, a bit on the expensive side for me but defiantly good to see!

Re: proper 165R13
Quite expensive for what they are, but I presume that is because these retro sizes are becoming more niche rather than mass produced.
Economies of scale and all that.
Yes - we should advise that Dougal does work for the tyre supplier, and therefore has a vested interest to "advertise for free" on a car forum.
(I need to brush up on the forum rules regarding traders self-promoting).
Now then, if they were to offer a decent club discount for our members, then that would be worth considering.
