hi, i have been looking at some replacement wheels for my cav. its currently running 17's, with 205/40/17 tyres on. the wheels are bk's and really scruffy, but better than what was on it when i bought it. i dont know what the offset is on the bk's.

i know standard cav offset is ET49, but the wheels that i am looking at are ET40 with 205/45/16 tyres on. im going to be dropping my car 40mm soon so wondered if these wheels would fit ok without any scrubbing issues, or catching when on full lock

The tryes have a smaller rolling radius than the 17's

I've got 205/40/17 et 39 on a 60mm drop with no problems.
