It's in the title, but what tyre size should I be looking at if I want to put 18inch 8j et38 rims on a Cavalier lowered about 30-40mm? Also, anyone got a pic of that setup?
Want to still be able to drive the car no matter how awesome it looks! Am I likely to be rubbing the arches?

215/35/18 mate. You could go 205/40/18 which would give a bit more clearance but might make the car look abit high. Here is 215/35 on a 8.5" rim
