Read on here that the correct tyre size for sri fanblades according to the haynes manual is 195/60/15 or 205/55/15.
Just wondering what would be the best tyre size to go for when the car is lowered.
Hopefully will be lowered just 30mm on eibach springs.
Dont want it catchin in the arches but dont want to lose all comfort either?

Mine is lowered -40mm though think its a little lower as on Gmax springs, running 195/60/15 on Astra mk4 Sport alloys and doesnt catch a bit.

205/55/15 tyres are for the Cav GSI only, I think the turbo had 205/50/16.

You want to keep the right profile otherwise it will put the speedo out, and it's the profile of the tyre that affects comfort also.

With only -30 you will be fine on standard tyres.

If you want wider tyres for better traction, go with 205/60/15, otherwise stick with 195/60/15.

205/60/15 will be too tall.

std 195/60/15s for the 6" x 15" fanblades etc.

do a search for tyre size calculator and put in the std size, then try inputting the weird and wonderful sizes. you need to keep very close to the std rolling radius.

etc etc

dont get it wrong, you will hate it
