Wheel security key.

Car is a 1994 2.0 8v CD hatch. It has the standard Factory alloy wheels. Although the security key that came with the car is the wrong one it has the letters A M E between the three pins on it. Is this some sort of identification code?

I don't know if it's an ident code or not but if your key doesn't match then it's probably for the best to get a new set.
You can still get them.
The part number is 90495549
Have a look around on eBay or a Vauxhall parts dealer might be able to get them.

Thanks James I was wondering how to make up a new key. I hadn't considered that they may still be available. Could you suggest a possible supplier that I could try?
