Larger Sri fan blades

Post by kimi sri »

Hi everyone been a while since I’ve been on going to make an effort to get the cavalier finished for the summer and have seen some cavs with 16”-17” Sri fan blades does anyone know who sells them.

Welcome back Chris,

Before you mentioned them, I was not aware of any Fan Blade sizes other than 14" and 15".

I have tried searching for Fan Blade and "Turbine" alloys, but I haven't found any results that even vaguely resemble the Cavalier SRi / Diplomat Fan-Blades.

Yeah I can’t find any anywhere, but was browsing cavs for inspiration/motivation and saw a couple, one being a distinctive white saloon.
I’ll see if I can find a picture and post it.

Cav Turbo wheels are 16" and look similar to SRI fan-blades, but they are 5 stud instead of the usual 4.

The answer is within the picture.

I did a google of Andre Dalcin.

And this got me to Cataventos 17"

Googling Rodos Cataventos 17 got me to this Brazilian website.

Not cheap, but they are what you are looking for.

Stud pattern is 4-studs at 100mm pitch circle diameter. (standard Cav 4-stud pattern).

It's a shame they're only 4 stud, I really like the fan blades but prefer a bit bigger wheels on the cav.
I'll have to make do with my multi spokes.

Do they not do a similar wheel for a later model, such as Vectra-B or C?

My distant memories seemed to think they did.

Just checked... they are all 4 stud fitting, but you can get adapter rings to convert to 5 stud hubs.

I presume you meant to fit bigger hubs with 5 studs, not bigger wheels.

The options appear to be 15", 17" and 18" rims.
