Re: Hmmn will I have problems fitting 18s with this setup...
yeap got 18 inch bbs reps on my Cav V6 with 215 35 tires, old cav 2L was 60mm drop didnt rub due to konis being wound up
40mm on the V6 and theres a good gap
18s seem to sit better in my archs than 17s, raises the car up that lil bit more thankfully

@Dave ET30s hahahah! I've got those for my Omega and even then that's pushing it haha!
So what's the general consensus on ET38s then, not gonna have a problem as long as I get low enough profile tyres and don't drop the ride height anymore?! My ET37's which were 17 werent great but my shocks were fubarred at the time so I was getting arch rub every time I went over a bump.

my 17in momo arrows were ET35 and i had them on my 50mm lowered cavaliers, fronts were fine but the rears i had to shave a bit off the rear arch lips,
you should be fine

They are 35s so lower than the ones I'm thinking of but they're not brilliant on a Cav that's for sure. These are 8J whereas the 17s are 7.5 iircgsi pie wrote:what offset are they omega big flat 5 spokes? aint they low et?

Re: Hmmn will I have problems fitting 18s with this setup...
Cheers pal. The 17s are fine but really need a refurb to be up to the standard I want so once I've factored in the cost of the refurb and the what I paid for the wheels I can get a brand new set of the 18s as they are currently on offer, which would be ideal, and then I'll sell the 17s, but like I said before it's an expensive mistake to make so I want to be sure that they'll fit without issue on my IRS Cav before I take the plunge...Cavalier-C20LET wrote:my 17in momo arrows were ET35 and i had them on my 50mm lowered cavaliers, fronts were fine but the rears i had to shave a bit off the rear arch lips,

Actually, in addition to the 17s, I do have two sets of these wheels as 18s already, both ET30 and the rears in 9J destined for the Omega! A bit much for the Cav tho methinks...
As you can tell, I love these wheels haha!
