1.7td izuzu engine upgrades tunning ect

apart from turning the fuel pump up and adjusting the boost what else can I do to get more out of my engine??? bigger intercooler from a saab petrol or frontera poss even a turbo from a 3.1 trooper ??? any help at all

When I had that engine in a MK3 Astra estate. I adjusted the boost up and then turned up the diesel pump just doing that made a masive diffrence. I never bothered doing anything else as loads of work and cash for very little gain.

have heard of people putting a t2 turbo to them, but not sure what else they have done, i would be looking for some info on this aswell as mine is just after blowing the turbo

mine have both been turned up . but i didnt know if i could get anymore out of it ?

2.0 8v exhaust cat back and also take off the cat and smash its insides out and replace the air filter with a high flow air filter.

straight is going to be done and back box is custom also got a k&n direct to the turbo

Which high flow filter would you recommend and were from as might be due a new filter in mine

I've got a Pipercross panel filter in mine. I also removed the big standard extra but empty airfilter housing and replaced it with a cold airfeed to where the old piping would have ended up.
