On most cars its a case of lifting up the back seat taking the cap off the top the tank and removing the fuel sender unit and cleaning or removing the gauze so that it dosent get fuel starvation which it will
On my saloon cav i found that its on the side of the tank for some reason and has to be accessed from underneath so when i removed the cover were the fuel pipes attach i can see the plastic bowl thing but have no way of getting to it so i have had to take the pipe off and just have it picking up from the bottom of the tank but as you can imagine running the car like this without the bowl i get the problem of fuel serge everytime i go round corners or up hill on a low tank

Does anyone know a way i can get to the bowl properly so i can run my pick up from in there like it should be or had this problem before on the saloon diesel
