Engine rebuild

Post by Barney »

Hey guys,

Ive decided not to go ahead with the SAAB Turbo converstion and i'm going to stick with the XE so now the question arises who do i get to do the work for me.

Does anyone on here know of any DECENT companies or people around the Essex area that they would recommend.

Ive found these guys but never heard of them before.

Thanks
Barney

Not Essex, but not a stupid distance away....I used to use a company called 'Cranks and Bearings' based in Enfield who were very good at the time. They still exist but it has been 10 years since I was there.
"No the temperature gauge doesn't work........
we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"

Coulda sworn I'd replied to this... steveboyslim is near you in Harlow iirc. Give him a bell, builds lot's of high powered LET's and XEs, he recently installed under piston oil squirters on my block and did lots of other bits at the same time.
