Another oil leak. Gsi when does it stop

Post by Ricky180b »

Hi all so after having bad luck with 3 sumps my 4th one was good. Did everything spot on. I drove the car and now she leaking oil again but not from the sump. I seams is comb from the oil filter hosing. Now someone said there are 2 nuts tat need tightening. I've had someone take a look at fist they said I've got the wrong oil filter so I got one from vauxhall ad is still leaking. Now the gu is saying. Need a new housing where te oil filter goes onto. Has anyone got one Or any ideas. I was thinking to get a vectra drip Tay and modify it to fit

oil pump gasket? sandwich plate? clean thoroughly then run it up watching very carefully for the first drip to see exactly where it originates

Sandwich plate is common.
Oil pumps can leak if they use the paper gasket. Was later changed steel
