water problem please help

hiya all ive just replaced the head gaket all the pipes are back the the right places but when i put water back in the expansion tank the water goes straight in the sump please help if you can ive been told it could be the head gasket thanks for any help

Either the head gasket or a cracked head, did you angle tighten the head?

yes m8 and the head been skimmed and crack tested

I really cant see the waterjacket in the block being cracked, i would think it is the head gasket as it cant be much else without being terminal
