Be aware that the fact that disconnecting it stabilised the idle doesn't necessarily mean that it is faulty. If it is giving a high signal it could be the throttle cable too tight, the linkage sticking (which I have seen a few times) or even the throttle body itself sticking. Anything that could lead to more than 2% throttle basically.

I've checked the throttle cable and thats fine and linkage is fine. I've had the car running and pushed the butterfly valve with a screwdriver gentle and its completely shut. I still think its something to do with the TPS. Sometimes when I pull away she bunny hops like she running out of fuel but theres loads in the tank and going through gears when I put my foot back on the gas she judders.

On the basis of what you have been through I would change it. Almost certainly going to be the problem.
