im looking for some engine hose to replace all my vacuum hoses on the cav (c18nz block) as they old and cracking and breaking. they all look the same size really.
looking for the following
hose from throttle body to map sensor
hose from egr valve to throttle body
hose from valve cover to throttle body
tank vent hoses
hose from the plasic fuel air mix pipe I think it is?
basically all hoses attached to throttle body
wouldn't mind replacing my throttle body gaskets but cant find them anywhere unless anyone knows part numbers
sure all these hoses have the same size openings. if so anyone know where I can get a reel of it, enough for replacing all the hoses that size. thanks in advance

6mm internal diameter pipping if I recall correctly - it's been a while.saucy_begger wrote:im looking for some engine hose to replace all my vacuum hoses on the cav (c18nz block) as they old and cracking and breaking. they all look the same size really.

Re: c18nz engine hoses
Thanks envoy. Is sillicone hoses ok for replacing all these or should I try and find rubber hoses. If sillicone is good and can be used without problems I'll go with 5mm so it's tight. Was thinking of using zip ties to give extra support.

Re: c18nz engine hoses
I just used the rubber host kits from Halfords. Push fit, never had any issues requiring zip ties or crimps.saucy_begger wrote:Thanks envoy.
