You dont need twin turbos and by the time your done there would be no change out of 10grand, for 400+ bhp

You could turbo the xe but its not really worth it unless your gonna shift over to mappable management and then its not really an xe anymore.

Dunno but I'll tell you what's crazy. I knew a guy a wee while ago who fitted a turbo to the 8v engine in his mk3 Astra. He then fitted a turbo to a 2nd 8v and flung that in the back to drive the rear wheels! I know there are guys out there doin it with VW VR6 engines and the like, which is beyond mental but even still, the Astra was something.
Sticking feathers up your arse does not make you a chicken!

10 grand wow, thats alot of money, seems alot of work too, you have too admit it would be pretty smart... it could be like the mighty lotus carlton.
I think it'l be left well alone then.
Thanks for your input...

Regal motor sport based in southampton did that with 2 calibra engines in a Nova of all things, same set up front engine drove front wheels and rear engine took car of the back end, with hydraulic gearbox and the ability to switch between front, rear and all wheel drive, it was featured in Maxpower, you may have seen it. Like you say there are mentel people out there, apprently the guy who built it said it was a total head **** and he'd never do it again.
