Engine rebuild

Hi all, gonna rebuild my redtop engine, wheres the best place to get new shells, rings, headset etc?
Also can the crank be taken out with engine in place or does it all have to be taken out?
one more thing ive rebuilt engines before but they were mostly big Truck Diesel engines, anything i need to look out for on the petrol engine from a car?

anywhere really, measure everything as youve no idea if the crank has been reground etc as they are all knocking on now

if you take the gearbox off you could get the crank out but tbh its so much easier pulling the engine

an engine is an engine, really just make sure everything is right and dont take anyones word on stuff fitting without checking it yourself
