bottom pulley question????

bottom pulley question????

i have tryed to undo the bottom pulley that the power steering belt goes on to but when i locked the top timing pulley and tryed to undo the bottom 1 it jumped does any 1 knw what that means please thanks

by the sounds you will need to completely retime the engine...

re time engine and put car in gear to lossen bolts

you shouldnt have locked the top pulley. but get someone to put it in gear and stand on the brakes should keep it locked up enough. Try jaring it loose.

would i have bent any valves or damaged anything what would be recomended to do now cheers for help so far

one tooth and its not been run it will be fine, just re-time it
