F28 clutch thrust bearing

Post by LETSTICK »

Since i put the F28 in on saturday all has been fine

then today on the way to work made a really loud sqreeching noise when the pedal was all the way to the floor at every set of lights , but fine when normal driving along , selects every gear fine

Then on the way home, noise got even louder then sounded like the bearing collapsed as the pedal dropped buy around 2 inches

it was imposible to push the pedal to the floor to get any gears without crunching um in :o ,

where would be the best place to get hold of a thrust bearing :cheers

When I needed a thrust bearing for my wifes old corsa sport I just got one from the local factors. Thay did try sell me a whole clutch kit first, when I was only needing the bearing.
