Re: Engine Conversion
Bit of both. A vauxhall top half with a saab bottom half maybe?

Asif...anyone know anything about the bolt on turbo kit from Regal Autosport for the x20xev ecotec?
Re: Engine Conversion
Haha why...different eco turbo
Re: Engine Conversion
Because for the same price you could buy a hole vectra Vxr. Also with the kit you will struggle to see let power
Re: Engine Conversion
Ahhh that expensive...wel...still stuck between...saab turbo...z20let...and c20let
Re: Engine Conversion
The regal kit was £4000 that's without the rebuild kit you would need etc ![Surprised :-o](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Re: Engine Conversion
Yes that's what's stand alone management is, you need this because both the vectra and astra vxr engines use canbus ecu's to which you have no chance of getting to work in a cav.
Zlet on the other hand doesn't use canbus

Re: Engine Conversion
Done a few saab conversions now and with out a doubt they are alot better than vauxhall engines. They produ e more torque when tuned and are very strong/cheap engines. I personally dont think they suit an f28 but thats my opinion. Im putting one into my new cav, c20let isnt even an option for me anymore.

Re: Engine Conversion
Saab engines share nothing with vauxhall engines either by the way just a starter motor and bellhousing pattern.
