I need a new sump for my '94 cav 1.8 8v LSi (Single Point Injection)
I've asked around for a new sump and i can find one but the problem is....
I keep being asked if my sump is without check control
OR
with check control
so does anyone know which one i need, or how i can find out which one i need.
As my cav is pretty much undrivable until i get the sump sorted.

Without check control. LS Cavs never had this as standard, so unless your planning to fit it (unlikely to be fair) - get the one without.. unless the one with is cheaper 
(it will have a hole in it for the sensor but I'm sure you can find some plumbing tape and the correct sized bolt to put in there 
Make sure you get the 8valve RUBBER sump gasket too not the crappy cork one I was almost palmed off with a few years back.

im sure if you get the one with check control it has 5 holes one for the sensor and 4 to bolt it down, so more hassle than its worth
