Converting 2WD to 4WD

Is it possible without using the entire rear floor pan? Is the tunnel suitable on a 2wd car to accept the prop?

Have i missed anything off the list of that is required to convert a 2WD to 4WD?

I've a mint 48k 2WD V6 CDX that i'm pondering converting to 4WD and just need a bit of guidance.

Is it possible to just modify/cut/weld the pan where the subframe will mount? Or does it mount in the same place on a 2WD????

Whole floorpan is different. Conversion isnt econmically viable time effort etc.

The tunnel on a 2wd gsi isnt suitable for 4wd etc its just too much effort for little gain

Anything can be done with time and deep pockets. The v6 block may not give room for a transfer box exhaust is also in way

Yeah i thought that would be the case.

Don't really want to chop it seeing as its that mint.

I'll stick to the Saab/F28/2WD conversion instead
