C20xe cold start problem

Went to start the cavalier today and won't start at all it's turning over and getting fuel but won't start

Any ideas it's coil pack engine

Check the electrical plugs around the engine bay. Long shot but it could be that one has become loose.

I know on the 8 valve engines, it's common for the crank sensor plug to disintegrate where it's too close to the engine. Plastic just falls apart over time. Has the engine got wet at all? Could try water repellent spray around the coil pack, electrics etc.

Folks found the problem it's crank sensor. Are they easy fit

One 10mm bolt. Just make a mental note of where the wire runs as it runs behind the engine mount

Does the power steering bracket have to come off seems be in the way a bit

No, it'll come out round it
