vaux-world sensor

anyone have any problems with non genuine crankshaft sensors? or is my ecotec just slightly fussy! bought one on friday and car wouldnt start, returned it for another one as thought it was faulty but was no better

Always bought genuine crank sensors. But yea Vauxhall world parts aren't much cop.

will be a bog standard pattern part, nowt special but should still work.

check the length of it compared to the one you removed

its completely identical 2 the genuine one i have in every shape and form, ud think it was genuine! tried 2 of them and no joy looks like ill have to stick to genuine sensors

Are you sure it's not a damaged wire? Worth checking just in case. Or the section where it meets the other plug which goes to the ECU? On the 8 valve engines they can sometimes break apart and disconnect.

its definately the new sensor itself, wen i plug my old one back in it starts first time, but it has melted through showing the wire and the car wont run properly thats why i thought it would b handy to get a new aftermarket one at a cheap price.
