Ecotec head compatibility question

Post by M234OWP »

Ok guys, hope you can help me again. Could anyone tell me if an X18XE head will fit on a C18XEL block? :?

that is a good question and best answered (by someone who knows) by suggesting a comparision of head gaskets for purposes of bolt locations and tech specs for bore sizes of cylinders. you may have issues with drive belts depending on pulley layouts... but why not use a x18xe on carbs?

It's all down to money really as I'm on a tight budget thanks to my poxy mortgage!

I'm looking for a head to try and sort out my Pineapple Sport but all I can find are X18XEs.
