Can anyone recommend a brush on paint that would stay put on a manifold?
I have been using a silver colour product which came from where I worked and was supposed to be good for 650c which will stay on most of the exhaust but doesn't like the manifold much!

Think with the manifold, its more down to the preparation of the material. How depending on how hot the manifold actually gets (Not something I'm aware of really) but if the manifold is rusty it won't adhere properly and the heat will just cause it to flake.

It's a new 4 branch manifold and totally clean!
It was supplied finished in black but I had to do some 'fettling' to it which left unfinished steel so I finished the whole thing in my high temp silver paint - which looks like it won't last.

High temp paint never works on a manifold. It will last a day or so then peel off. Theres no cheap way of covering a manifold other than heat wrap.

I've seen BBQ/Stove paint mentioned for painting manifolds. Lidl recently were selling spray paint for high temperature surfaces.

you can get a white ceramic type coating I think
I know when ordering the big bore mani for a c20xe from Ashley you can pay extra for the coating
