short shifter for a v6

the throw on the v6 is huge i have a spare gearstick can i cut it down ?>

basically the mk4 astra one is a bit shorter but your right you cut it down anyone will do, but its not really a shortshift it wont make it any shorter just kinda feels like it.

In fairness the astra mk4 stick does shorten the throw... I measured it
