V6 oil filter

Does the v6 use the same oil filter as the standard cavs?

I'm reasonably sure that most (petrol-engined) oil filters are compatible across the range from 1.2 up to the big-block stuff. There are a tiny few exceptions. I vaguely recall that the more recent lumps are OK for a certain batch of engine numbers but not for others.

Cheers Colin I was just mindful that it's a simlar engine to the omega one and u know how sometimes quirky parts can be lol
