lower compression MLS gaskets Z20LET

Post by Falconware »

:wave Hi guys, i have Z20LET engine running on vauxhall cavalier
Is that any idea if i bought Head gasket thicker than the std
for example from 8.8:1 to 8.5:1 and use aftermarket ECU management to upgrade the performance with the same standard turbine (stock Z20LET turbine) ;)
is that will make the engine week or not because decompressing the ratio? :scratch
and what is the right thickness upgrade for head gasket..? :scratch
so.. leave it standard or going to lower the compression ? :scratch
finally, what the power i will gain (almost) for that upgrade if i decompressed the compression - note: with the same std pistons, rods, crank :wall
