Steering wheel swaps, boss kits?

Post by VectraGoVroom »

I'm back again.

So I've been toying with the thought of replacing my steering wheel with something a little bit sportier. Don't judge me, I like brushed metal. So there are a ton of boss kits available for other Vauxhall models from Astras and Corsas to Omegas and Calibras, but very few for Cavs. Is anyone aware whether any of these cars share column shafts with Cavaliers, whose boss kits would then fit a Cav? Thanks!
Call them Cavs, but mine's a Veccy. <3

As the Cavalier and Calibra were essentially the same car, I'd think that is your best bet for a compatible match.

I know the calibra used the same style steering wheels as the cavalier.

I can't be sure if they used the same fitting though.

Think you will find lots of vauxhall s have same fitting for steering wheel, up until the mk5 astra / vectra c. I have a vectra b wheel on my cavalier.

Sweet. These listings are mentioning a 36-tooth spline, does that sound about right to you?

i've heard of and seen some cavaliers running around with vectra b standard fit steering wheels, so they must share the same splines too
