Replacement driveshaft for an automatic

Post by AndyA »

Hi

I'd like to replace the driveshaft/CV joints on the driver's side of my automatic Cavalier MK3

I'm having trouble finding one though, does anyone know the part number?

Or a place to source one?

It is a saloon, 2.0i, 8v

If I can't get the complete driveshaft is it a difficult job to replace the out CV joint? Are these the same part for manual/automatic gearbox?

Thank you :)

Replacing the CV joint will take at most a couple of hours if you have the right tools.
CV t]joint will be about 25quid. may as well do the boot too. Get a stretch boot if you can.
