No fans/blowers

Hi all. I've got no fans or blowers/fans but car gets hot when driving. Using the temperature slider doesn't cool things down. I've got a second-hand heater motor on it's way hopefully but just wondering if there's anything else I should check? Not 100%sure if they were working before I got the car engine bay washed a week ago I'm thinking not but can't be sure. Any ideas???

The fan motor is being discussed in another member's thread.

Have you checked the fuse (F4)
the resistor pack (on the motor casing) and in some cases, a faulty switch.
