Clutch recommendations

Post by A-J »

I'll be doing a clutch shortly in the cav, and been priced £55 +vat for a QH kit. Anyone had experience of these? Or can anyone recommend another manufacturer?

Cheers

I've asked this as well earlier on, but for my 18sv. Apparently anything less than £80 is cheap crap and won't last.

Not doubt it will be a remanufactured clutch.

I bought a LUK clutch kit from ebay.

The seller was fishmanandy, which sounds strange, but he bought lots of NOS parts for Vauxhalls, and is flogging them at low prices.

The only thing to be careful about, is whether you have a flat or pot flywheel, as this can even catch out many garages and parts suppliers.

He also sells the oil pressure senders as used with the Calibra gauges.
